PILATES STARTS TOMORROW

What is Pilates?⠀

Pilates is a functional and corrective exercise system developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th Century. It involves a series of slow, controlled targeted exercises focusing on core strength, spinal stability, balance and improved mobility. It is a fantastic technique for strengthening and re-balancing all the muscles in the body.
Pilates helps to rehabilitate injuries as well as to reduce severity and frequency, improving posture and range of motion/flexibility the focus is on core strength, stability and general mobility.⠀

Russ’s Approach⠀

My modern approach to Pilates is a controlled, technical and functional series of exercises - focused on strengthening the core muscles and improving stability as well as mobility. Shown to help with non-specific back pain, improves sports performance, contributes to lowering the chance of injury and enhances general well-being.⠀
