I first started training with Tony in November 2010. I was suffering from severe gluteus medius tendinitis which meant I could only walk a few yards without the aid of a stick. I also had 2 bulging discs in my spine, L4/L5 and L5/S1… I was in a lot of pain! I weighed 91 kilos and had seen several specialists about the glute, none of which had led to a permanent fix. I was a wreck!
I am now 77 kilos, have no back spasms, can walk 10 miles, do chins, do lunges, bench press 60 kilos, plank till boredom sets and most importantly there is NO pain. I have had no operations. I am over 50 years old and have never been fitter or stronger.
I’m more confident, way happier, and have gained a friend along the way. Tony is a results orientated personal trainer. When you meet him for the first time he will want to know what your objectives are. To simply say “I want to get fit” will not be enough for him to take you on. He will want to agree specific targets with you and put timetables against them. The targets will be realistic and achievable and will vary hugely from person to person. Tony has a unique style of working with his clients. Whilst the sessions are always well thought through and challenging, he can sense when you can take on a slightly higher weight, or do an extra couple of lunges, and will adapt the session accordingly. Likewise, he’s quick to spot if you’ve reached your limit and will ensure you don’t overdo it.
